I really loved the world and the setting. The vibe I got from the first few chapters was similar to (the game) Against the Storm, for some reason. Dark, wet, alive, dangerous.

I do have some nitpicks (e.g. I could have done without anything amorous all, and I really hate the name of the book for some reason), but they're all minor.

I'm definitely going to read the next book as well.
