Books I've read recently

Sociopath by Patric Gagne

I liked the first part the most - the bits where she was a child. The rest felt a bit too drawn out. And while I understand that any autobiography will make certain changes to the real flow of events and their presentation, (and that reality is under no obligation to feel believable and make sense,) here they often felt serendipitous to the point of me wondering whether they aren't just made up.
And the way she puts the 'PhD' up there... who does that?

That being said, I didn't have such a viscerally negative reaction to the book as many in my book club did.
And I've seen statements saying she isn't really a sociopath, but a narcissist/liar/whatever. I don't know anything about those things really, so I don't have an opinion on that.
